I was on vacation over thanksgiving break. One of the ports we stopped at was Cozumel. I picked up this bag of what I thought were plain Doritos. Most bags look different on the front for different flavors but this one didn’t other than the advertisement for the monopoly game. After I ate one of the chips and realized they were spicy Doritos I examined the bag again. I then saw on the back a small picture of a chip and pepper. I have never seen a bag of Doritos like this here, have you?

Holiday Shopping

Why do so many people make a big deal about black Friday shopping? It has gotten to where it is not even just Friday. People leave family time to go stand in the cold for hours and fight crowds of people for sales they could have already gotten. WHY? Is it really worth it? I think so many have just lost sight of what the holidays are really about.

How does a restaurant that offers a special everyday of the week for $4 gradually raise the price and then goes to offering the special everyday of the week for $6. What is the purpose behind doing that? Is it to hopefully attract customers everyday rather than just the day that offer what they like? Does the drastic price increase keep them from the purchase? Do many people settle for what the specials are or do they get what they really want?

When a business closes for remodel or repairs and says they will reopen on a certain day and then ends up not being able to what does that do? Does it hurt them any worse than it already has? Does it stop people from coming back when actually do reopen?
